Ekklesia Registration is now open!

Ekklesia is the biennial meeting of Phi Gamma Delta and is expected to draw at least 700 Phi Gams from the US and Canada. And this year - for the first time since 1912 - it is in Indianapolis!

You can attend the entire event or the opening banquet or the closing banquet or the special Friday Night event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The Friday night event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a Grand Prix race associated with the Brickyard 400 weekend. Tickets are $50 and include entrance to the track and the evening picnic. This event is open to brothers and family members.

You can register online for any of these events at:

Since the last Indianapolis Ekklesia was in 1912, it is almost a certainty this will be your one chance to participate in an Indiana Ekkelsia.

“Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”

Welcome to the homepage of the Iota Sigma Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta at Indiana State University.

I am proud to serve as the newly elected President of this Chapter as we are in the beginning of our second year being a full chapter. The Chapter chartered on February 15, 2013 and since then we have sought to exemplify our values of Friendship, Knowledge, Service, Morality, and Excellence.

Our emphasis on Service has led us to a milestone of achievements within the Chapter. We have shown a tremendous amount of dedication to the community by partnering up with The American Cancer Association's Relay for Life, Where the Chapter raised about $700. As well as the Suicide Prevention walk where we donated over $7,000 to the cause. The Iota Sigma Chapter has accumulated over 1000 hours of service to the Community over this past year, and is looking forward to increasing our involvement in not only the Campus but as well the community as well.

We not only pride ourselves on philanthropy but as also pride ourselves on having a rigorous Academic program as well. We have been awarded for the past two years Excellence in Academic development from the Honor Society Order of Omega.
