Iota Sigma and Rho Phi team up on 5k Race

The Iota Sigma chapter helped with the Rho Phi FIJI 5k Run to support Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society.  The 5k run held on the afternoon of March 29, 2014 at Hawthore Park raised over $1000 for cancer research.  There were 78 runners and over 100 financial supporters.

Iota Sigma Raises $7000 for Out of Darkness

The chapter's major fall philanthropy event was The Out of Darkness Walk to support the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention. This year 200 people walked in the event and almost $7000 was raised. This smashed through the chapter's goal of $5000 and was triple last year's total.

Great job to Iota Sigma and the many organizations which supported the cause.

Iota Sigma Raises $1,050 for Relay for Life

Phi Gamma Delta participated in Relay for Life this past weekend.  Although the temperatures were in the low 30s, it did not stop the chapter from staying up until nearly 6:00 am walking around the track to show support for the American Cancer Society.

By the end of the night the chapter had raised $1050, surpassing their $1000 goal.  Thanks to Brett Taylor and Jon Bott who put so much work into the event.  Also thanks to graduate Charlie Ricker who served on the steering committee.

The chapter was awarded the "Newcomer Team" by Relay for Life.  We also congratulate Theta Chi as best Greek Relay team.

The chapter was named a Chapter of Achievement in the following areas:
  - Academic Development (no chapter won a Chapter of Excellence Award here)
